Emotions are a predefined set of reactions governed by both physical and mental limitations. Past memories and experiences will also play a factor.
Memories are affected by mental reconstruction, fore over emotions are the extreme general word of the predefined set of reactions, every emotion will follow up the general word it expresses, but be caused differently.

Zach975's mom said that famous people die in pairs of three, and so it did, but then Billy Mays died (Oxi-clean dude) and that was the first of another pair of three. Two more to go. Then I hope it's Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and Joe Jonas.
